Here's another manicure inspired by clothing from Target. I really do love that place... This is a dress I actually own and love though, not baby clothes so that's good, I suppose. I'm kind of upset about how these photographed, because in person they look amazing, but I guess I wasn't as neat with them as I thought. At an arms length, they look super incredible and I'm obsessed. I don't think I'll ever get over my love of zigzags.
The colors I used for these nails are Urban Outfitters Virgin, China Glaze Papaya Punch (I just got this and am wearing it on my toes too. So much love for it.) Zoya Megan and American Apparel 7th and Alameda. I think this color combo is so perfect, and this is definitely a dress I can wear from spring through fall, so that's exciting too. Here's a photo of how my nails compare to the dress pattern. Pretty close if you ask me!

ReplyDeleteDo you use tape for the zig zags or do you free hand it? They look pretty great to me.
ReplyDeleteIt's all freehanded. The trick to making it look all nice and crisp is that after you've done it all, go over the colors again to make the lines much sharper.
